ROTH 2012 – Design for Success
As the 2012 edition approached and I continued to excitedly talk about Collaborations, my closest support group at the time started to disintegrate. By the end of July only a handful were left. They had gotten comfortable with the way we did things and didn’t see the need to change anything, however, I had heard that collaboration was the next level so I stuck with the Word of God I had received. This was another trying period but in that time God birth the book Sista Power through that revelation. A fallout of this experience was that I received a bit of boldness to move the conference out of the Festac area thereby opening it even more to women from other parts of Lagos.
Again Coach Anna McCoy and Linda Wallace along with myself were speakers for the 2012 edition. Our theme was Designed for Success, colour of the day was Teal and again another explosion of the grace and glory of heaven. We held at the Mulliners Towers in Ikoyi. God came through all the way. Our speakers paid their way to come all the way from the U.S and at the end of this one, I wasn’t owing anyone anything.
I learnt from this year that before the New can be birth the old will have to give way. Painful as it was I began to learn and nurture new relationships and I am grateful to be able to learn. My new support came out in full force. The power they brought made it all the more glorious.
My hubby Mark, he was there every step…ROTH was becoming a brand. Only God could have done this!
