ROTH 2015 – Reinvent
At the blink of an eye, year 8 was here. Somehow, as a matter of fact only by the mercies of God we were still going strong. For the first time, my hubby Mark Mordi was speaking alongside Enife Atobiloye and Gozie Udemezue all the way from Enugu.
My Coach wasn’t speaking but she showed up just to support us. So did the Olumeses. It seems like God is determined to keep the international attendance going. We had reached the stage of effortless effort. That year God specifically told me to hold my tongue leading up to the conference. So I had to take time off work so I didn’t get into heated conversations or anything like that. It was one of the hardest things I did but I had to learn because God told me if I even as much as lose my temper once He would disgrace me…so I held my tongue. I learnt that with the right motivation I can do anything God will require of me.
We had a great conference until It was my turn to speak and the lights at the venue were cut out. I spoke for all of an hour and half and my voice was so clear that the over 300 women in that room all heard me. Some even recorded me on their phones and it was very clear. It had to be that God shut my mouth leading the it so He could amplify my voice at the end.
We had a great, great time, and our theme for 2016 was released. Incidentally, I also turned 45 a couple of days before the conference and God had promised me that He would give me 10x better than I had ever received…
